The second edition of the Vogue Beauty Festival, a four-day virtual celebration of the bright world of beauty, was centered around self care and sustainability. It was held between 29th July to 1st August on Vogue India’s digital and social platforms. The line-up encompassed IG Lives, contests, master classes, DIY sessions in the spheres of wellness, fitness, pregnancy beauty, health and nutrition and makeup. VBF brought together some of the most coveted global experts and influencers to share their experience and hosted the prestigious Vogue Beauty Awards to spotlight and honour the beauty heroes that made 2021 a little happier for all of us.
Katrina Kaif, Mira Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Neetu Kapoor share their best kept beauty secrets
This year’s notable winners were Katrina Kaif, Mira Kapoor, Dia Mirza and Neetu Kapoor to name a few. The stunning Mira Kapoor was given the Beauty of the Year award which she dedicated it to her mom describing her as an epitome of beauty inside and out and watching her how she has developed her own beauty philosophy, less is more. Dia Mirza won the Clean Beauty Crusader of the Year Award and thanked her long-standing beauty companion, her garden. Being a sustainability advocate she shared her skincare regimen and the significance of “earthing” a practice that she adopted.
The timeless beauty Neetu Kapoor was bestowed with the Ageless Beauty of the Year award. She emphasised on the idea that beauty is internal and how she maintains it through physical activities. Her heartfelt message for all is to “Eat healthy, workout hard, sleep peacefully and always smile.” Katrina Kaif won the Beauty Entrepreneur of the Year award for Kay Beauty. In her acceptance speech Katrina mentioned that it was always a dream to have her own beauty brand which stands for being comfortable in your own skin. She also demonstrated her fresh summer makeup look.
The event concluded with a Sunday skincare routine being shared by the renowned Joanna Czech, a prestigious Aesthetician with an alluring client list of Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Aniston, Anna Wintour, and more. Young & cheerful Alaya F took audiences through her makeup hacks which she picked up on sets.TheCEO and founder of KORA Organics, Miranda Kerr spoke on her mindful wellness and her beauty routine that complemented with intriguing elements such as a dry body brush, crystals, aromatherapy, detox smoothies & eating a rainbow bowl.
