Known for her pastel shades, wildflower motifs, and romantic silhouettes, Reddy explores a more elaborate aesthetic with this collection. Zardozi, intricate threadwork, sequins, and glass beads bring texture and dimension to the garments, while detailed embellishments give each look a rich finish.

Showstopper: Sara Arjun

Actor Sara Arjun closed the showcase as its showstopper. Her appearance brought the presentation to a close, highlighting the collection’s intricate craftsmanship and elaborate detailing.

Couture With Character

For more than a decade, Reddy has developed a signature style rooted in soft colors and feminine silhouettes. With MAYA, she returned to her sketchbook to explore different sources of inspiration and experiment with her approach to craft.

Mythological references, childhood memories, and familiar everyday objects inform the collection. Zardozi embroidery, fine threadwork, sequins, and glass beads add richness to the designs, placing the focus on the skill and detail behind each piece.

Beauty in Three Looks

Lakmē Salon translated the collection’s mood into three bridal beauty looks, each offering a distinct approach to makeup and hairstyling.

The Soft Romantic Bride

Diffused blush, velvet-finish skin, and glossy lips create a soft, flushed complexion. Braids and loose beachy curls keep the hairstyle relaxed, while pearl accessories add a delicate finishing touch.

The Timeless Bride

Rose-red lips, watercolor blush, and elongated eyeliner define this classic look. Soft waves and a long floral trail complete the styling, balancing traditional bridal details with understated makeup.

The Maximal Bride

Dual-tone eye makeup takes center stage, paired with velvet-finish skin and nude, semi-gloss lips. Soft bangs and a long, high-top pull-through braid adorned with jewels give the hairstyle a dramatic finish.

Beauty That Reflects You

Vipul Chaturvedi, CEO of Lakmē Lever, highlighted the role of hair, makeup, and skin care in completing a bridal look. The collaboration brings beauty and couture together through looks designed to complement the collection while allowing room for individual expression.

From softly flushed skin and glossy lips to defined eyes and jeweled braids, the three directions offer inspiration for brides with different tastes and styles.

Anushree Reddy’s Next Chapter

For Reddy, MAYA began with a question: what comes next? After more than a decade of developing a recognizable design language, she set out to explore new references and experiment with craft in a more elaborate form.

The collection brings these influences together through intricate embroidery, ornate embellishments, and a mix of romantic and dramatic details. Paired with Lakmē Salon’s three beauty looks, it offers brides a range of options, each with its own character and appeal.
