With DASTKAR, Rohit Bal Couture placed the spotlight on the artisans whose skill, dedication, and artistic mastery have shaped the House’s identity for more than three decades. The collection paid tribute to the embroiderers, weavers, dyers, pattern makers, and karigars whose expertise continues to bring every creation to life.
Rooted in India’s rich artistic traditions, DASTKAR explored the connection between heritage techniques and contemporary couture through intricate handwork, luxurious textiles, and sculptural silhouettes. The collection reflected the timeless design vocabulary associated with Rohit Bal — where nature, architecture, history, and craftsmanship come together through storytelling.
Inspired by the ornamental beauty of French tapestries, vintage wallpapers, and rhythmic patterns of lines and dots, the collection unfolded through luxurious silks, velvets, and heritage textiles. Elaborate embroidery, layered textures, and carefully constructed forms revealed the precision and patience behind every garment.

The collection also revisited the visual motifs that have long defined Rohit Bal’s universe — the lotus, chinar, peacock, Kashmir’s landscapes, walnut wood carving, miniature paintings, Mughal gardens, temple architecture, and historic textiles.
